A lovely little restaurant in the heart of Chelmsford. Not the most extensive menu but every dish is done well. I had the gorgonzola pasta and really enjoyed it. So much so I tried to recreate at home the next week. The pasta was followed by tiramisu which was very light and a perfect end to the meal.

Our second visit last night. Went along wanting to order something else to what I had last time but couldn't help myself. Had to order the ravioli again. Never eaten food thay makes me feel emotional but oh my this ravioli is just incredible. Polignanos across the road is a regular haunt of us (owned by the same lovely italian) and we love both but authentico is like nothing else. Incredible, well cooked, authentic Italian food with a good house red too. Can't wait to go back and again try not to order the ravioli but can't say il manage. Husband had the spaghetti with the burrata and loved that too. We shared tiramisu for dessert...it was just all perfect.

Great customer service, nice wines. Chairs and tables a bit cheap and nasty and food somewhat bland but overall nice meal
